The executive branch is made up of two consuls who are elected yearly. These consuls were like presidents, they could veto, or disapprove of the other opinion.

The legislative branch was made up of the Senate. A group of 300 citizens from the patricians class. They were the wealthiest and oldest in Rome.

The judicial branch consists of eight judges who serve one-year terms. They oversaw the courts and governed provences.
